The Adelaide Gaol grounds have been chosen as a fully fenced secure site that has a close proximity to the Adelaide CBD.

The Adelaide Gaol main venue is about 2.2Km by road from Rundle Mall and the main city shopping district.   Just off the start of Port Road, the Gaol is a 400 metre walk from the nearest bus stop - or a 900 metre walk from the Royal Adelaide Hospital tram stop at the corner of North and West Terrace. Alternatively it is an 800m walk from the Thebarton tram stop through scenic Bonython Park.  Its location should suit anyone seeking accommodation within the Adelaide CBD. Tram rides from the city to the Gaol are free. The tram runs to Glenelg so it is easy to get in from there too. The Adelaide Railway Station is also nearby on North Terrace.

We do not plan to run shuttle buses.   All suburbs are adequately provided with public transport to the city CBD. See PublicTransport within the Adelaide CBD is free either on the Tram or the 97A, 98A & 98C, 99A & 99C buses.
