Croc Hash endorsed Adelaide to host the next Nash Hash in 2021, so the Adelaide committee has been working hard securing your venue and researching everything needed for the event. The Adelaide Gaol is booked.

Expect the usual prelube events such as the 100kg Run, Red Dress Charity Run, Harriette’s Lunch, Men’s Lunch etc. Registration for these will be available later through the website. Expect to visit some iconic pubs and venues in Adelaide at these events.

The Adelaide Gaol main venue is about 2.2Km by road from Rundle Mall and the main city shopping district. Just off the start of Port Road, the gaol is a 400 metre walk from the nearest bus stop - or a 900 metre walk from the Royal Adelaide Hospital tram stop at the corner of North and West Terrace. Alternatively it is an 800m walk from the Thebarton tram stop through scenic Bonython Park. Its location should suit anyone seeking accommodation within the Adelaide CBD. Tram rides from the city to the gaol are free. The tram runs to Glenelg so it is easy to get in from there too. The Adelaide Railway Station is also nearby on North Terrace.

We are confident that the gaol will be a great venue. The front gardens are shady and green and large enough to hold a thousand Hashers. Within the Gaol walls you will find a unique experience on a self-guided tour - or to see Hash events best screened from the muggle public.

After Croc Hash we had about 640 Hashers who had pledged and paid a $50 deposit to attend in Adelaide. Full registrations are slowly coming in through the website and into our bank account, although at this time we have less than 30 with a fully paid rego. Those who pledged should jump online ( to add the rest of your details and then transfer the balance of $250 by the end of August to become fully registered. If you didn’t pledge at Croc, full rego is $360 until end April 2020, after which it goes up to $410 (until end 2020).

We will endeavour to contact all those pledged at CrocHash to confirm we have your details correctly transcribed from the handwritten pledge forms at Croc. If you don’t hear from us or are concerned you may have been missed, then send us an email at Nash Hash will be the weekend after end of the Adelaide Fringe Festival on Sunday the 14th of March 2021. Why not come a week early to join in that big party scene in the city. Check out their website video or the website itself If you do want to experience the Fringe in Adelaide, make sure you book accommodation early.

Alternatively come a few days before Nash Hash and avoid the crowds. You will find accommodation easier to find, and more affordable after the Fringe has finished. We would like to involve you, our hash community, in helping us make Adelaide Nash Hash one to remember! Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey so we can get an idea of what to include/not include in your next Nash Hash.

We are pleased to confirm that we have Coopers Brewery as our main sponsor. Coopers is the largest Australian-owned brewery and is based in Adelaide. Beer drinkers should expect to drink lots of their products at Nash Hash!

We are presently testing a way for overseas hashers to pay rego fees using PayPal. We’ll let you know on the website when it’s up and running.
